Welcome! This is my homepage. About myself, I am Dutch, 21 years old. Born in 's-Gravenzande on June 2, 1977. You see me on the picture, sitting next to my mother. The picture is taken in Illinois (definitely the most beautiful state in the States). Currently, I am living in Brussels. Until the end of June I am doing an internship in the Federation of Dutch Employers. They represent Dutch business and industry intrests, also in Brussels, where 40% of Dutch regulations finds its origins. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

In the summer of 1998 I attended the "Global Village for future leaders of Business and Industry". This program was organized by the Iacocca Institute and Lehigh University. The location was Bethlehem, PA. On the picture you see Mr. Lee Iacocca (on the right) shaking hands with me (left). Mr. Iacocca supported the program. His success as a businessman, working for Ford and later on Chrysler, is legendary. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

When President Clinton visited Rotterdam in 1998, he gave a speech on the "Kop van Zuid", close to the place were historically people boarded (on ships) to go to the United States. |
